 Eco Chemical is a custom water-based coatings manufacturer established in the state of Washington in 1990. For over 20 years Eco's principals have been involved in many areas of the industrial chemical business, including ultra high-performance bridge coatings. Due to environmental concerns, in 1990 Eco decided that it would remove itself from the solvent-based coatings field and concentrate all of its research efforts on water-based, environmentally conscious coatings. Eco's current mission is to develop, manufacture, and market only environmentally sound coating products, and to be an environmentally responsible company. Eco's manufacturing plant has been designed for optimum production efficiency with a current capacity of 10,000 gallons of waterborne coatings per day. The facilities include a state-of-the-art research and quality control laboratory. In the fall of 1998, Eco Chemical was inspected by Washington State's Department of Ecology and received a letter of commendation for its progressive, environmentally sound manufacturing practices. |
